Would you like to reduce your weight? Would you like to feel better? Do you still want to be able to eatthe foods you enjoy?

What about eating healthy low carb food. A low carb diet is one of the best ways to reduce your weight, feel better and still eat many foods you wouldn’t ever consider on most diet.

Foods like whipped cream, dry roasted peanuts, full fat cheese, full yogurts, fried bacon and eggs are not off limits.

One is a very common misconception that eating too much fat makes us fat. The low carb diet shows that that isn’t the case. It is eating a diet thats high in carbs that has the great influence on our weight gain.

There are also a good number of very inaccurate misconceptions about the best low carb food and diets. Let’s peek at some of them.

Many people unfamiliar with this way of eating mistaken have the view point that the diet is extremely unhealthy, often because it doesn’t allow fruit and vegetables and an abundance of products high in animal fats.

These opinions are simply untrue. Fruits and veg are definately a good idea on a low carb diet. Initially only the high sugar fruits are off limits. Nutritious leafy vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and spinach make up a core part your low carb food selection.

Low carb diets not containing enough fibre or roughage, often resulting in constipation is another one. Its not neccesary for a low carb diet to be low in fibre.

This is not true, there are many low carb foods that are high in fibre.

Perhaps the most obvious one is that eating a low carb diet increases the risk of heart disease. Yes, many low carb foods are high in fat, sometimes high in saturated fat. However, the lack of carbs has been consistently proven to improve cholesterol profiles and not raise the risk of heart disease.
