There are many reasons why people would rather chow down on a chicken chow mein than start on a crunchy salad.

Taste

Taste is very important to people which is why they will choose a curry over a boring old salad, a big mistake in the long run. This is where the addiction and weight gain comes from. Salads on the other hand tend not to be something that many people get addicted too simply because of the things inside it. The things that people get addicted too is the oils and fats inside the foods itself which is why salads and healthy things to not contain it.

Sound

Some decent dish names need to be made for the salads as they sound very poor compared to the bacon fries or double bacon and mushroom cheeseburger. This is really only down to the fact that junk food has become very popular, if it was the other way around then salad would sound like a really good idea.

Look

If you are looking straight down at a salad, sure there a lot of colours and textures but if you then replace it with a burger then you are going to be having a field day. This is once again down to the fact that the media has shown junk food to be a better option to have. Now of course things are changing and junk food is trying to be pushed out by the healthier options.

Smell

As well as this, famous brands like KFC are recognised across the world by the smell of the chicken, there arent many restaurants than can do that. A lot of people are forgetting that there are healthier options out there like fish and pasta that smell, look and taste brilliant

It would certainly seem that our own senses actually help us to choose what food we are interested in. If you are thinking about junk food then it is fine to have in small bits so why not go out and order in some Indian food.

If you have ever been in a kitchen with a cooking pizza you will know the answer – the smell of the thing! it is always worth making your own dough, and the preparation is crucial. if you cannot afford the time to make your own dough, there is lots available at most supermarkets.

Any food that you can enjoy from home should fill the room and whet the appetite, such as pizza which has a unique freshness.

I haven’t been into cooking pizzas at home for long, but like many, my inspiration comes from particular takeaway or restaurant experiences. Nearby is restaurant on the seafront, which is known for its pizzas and its entertainment. I like the combination of tasty food and entertainment, and particularly in Europe, I think the Italians and Spanish are unbeatable. In the north of Spain, they have an unsual way of serving the cider or ’sidre’ to their customers. The waiter looks as if he is in a trance, whilst pouring the drink from above his head into a glass. Pointless – but great entertainment!

The Italians are great with dough preparation and like to display it, and how important the process is to the food. There are secrets to making a pizza according to these people – preparation to start followed by the correct oven temperature. This dough is unbelievably soft and pliable. I have first hand experience of this, because they bring it round to your table and let you try the technique for yourself! They have perfected their art which involves ’spinning’ the dough in the air, eventually producing something with a familiar shape.

it goes into the overn, when all the ingredients that were chosen are prepared and topped on the pizza. In about ten minutes your senses will be gripped by the delicious aroma, coming from the oven. You don’t have to enjoy your meal inside. If the weather is fine, you can still watch all the entertainment but take the food onto the beach! Great food, sunset on the beach and good company – marvellous!
